Every five years, the tower of Arcana opens their gates to the people. Peasant and Noble folk come from all over the world, longing to feel the glory of magic running through their veins - they’re called the Seekers.
“Nobody” actually knows what happens there. Most of the seekers never came back... and the ones who did, never speak of what they experienced.
Tower of Arcana isn’t a story by itself. It’s actually a guideline pamphlet that will help you create a story while you play the role of fantasy characters.

Tower of Arcana is a Pamphlet RPG for 2 players where one will be the Tower Lord and the other the Seeker.

Both Tower Lord and Seeker build the narrative on top of each other sentences and tell the story of how the Seeker became a Mage.

This Pamphlet RPG contains:

- Full explanation of how the game works

- One example of gameplay

- Rules for character creation

- A whole side only for the eyes of the Tower Lord with creative triggers and rules for each chamber.

- Space for your imagination to flow and to create the story of your Seeker.

- A B&W pdf file friendly to print.

UPDATE : Towe of Arcana has now a Portuguese version!

A fast yet deep game. Where you create a character pretty fast with original background thanks to the random tables. The shared narrative and the fact there is only 2 players make it a very introspective game that, maybe, says more about the players themselves than the characters ^^

The only problem is that it is sometime hard to understand how to interpret some part of the scenario because there is a lot of free space left for improvisation (that is good but a bit too much).

Wow, thank you so much for your feedback La Rôlisterie. Your words were a perfect fit for Tower of Arcana's design intention. We really want to make deep and introspective experiences with ToA.

Regarding the difficulty of interpretation, we totally understand that and we also had similar feedback from other experiences. We are currently working on a video to explain and help new players to get into it more easily.

Pretty cool!

Thank you lunchboxrpg! Have you played it? If yes, tell us how it went! If no, please do and gives us feedback afterwards.
We will be taking a look at your "Lair of the Mechanist Gnome" for sure!

Hugs from Portugal <3

At first read this game just begs us to go through a symbolic and intimate narrative journey into becoming a Mage in a fantastical world.

I hope to do it as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for your kind words Mariano. Please let us know how it went <3
